Ikat Inspired

1: Belina Soap, 2: Turquoise Ikat Chair, 3: Ikat Nesting Bowls, 4: Vix Ubud Ikat Coverup Caftan, 5: Rose & Ink Ikat Stationery, 6: Toms Ikat Print Peep-Toe Wedge, 7: Zhush Lola Clutch

Recently I have been coveting all things ikat. I love bright contrast in color it often brings, but at the same time the stripe & field stationery above with muted colors is simply gorgeous. I think what I love most about ikat is that it exudes a sense of adventure in your home or wardrobe, and transports you to places like Bali, India and Guatemala while never leaving your home. However I do think the caftan above would be the perfect cover up for a dream trip to South Pacific {Hoping my husband is reading this!}.
  1. I love ikat too! That chair is so cute. I would love it for my living room...or anywhere in my apt.

  2. Love that chair! And wasn't that link up for anti-resolutions fun? I thought it was great to do something a little different. Happy New Year, friend, so glad we 'met' this year!

  3. Not a fan of ikat. I am more into stripes and flowers, like your header, it's beautiful. But I do like having tons of different mismatch bowls to eat from. It's getting somewhat out of control.

  4. I like the idea of Ikat-upholstered headboards for a bed. I've seen some really lovely versions of them around the internet.
